Yes sir, decapitation by hex blunt. I witnessed the shot at about 20 yds. The dove was on a branch and just dropped like a rock.

This is Jean-Pierre over the last 3 years since he was 12. Every year he puts in his time but school work always comes first. Each year with a different bow and by himself. I guess he's tryin to break them all in.
His dream is to go on a hog hunt one year.
It is the young ones who will keep Trad alive.
God Bless, Pierre

Love to see the young hunters out there! This lets me know that our sport will be around for a long time. If given the chance, share with the youngsters what we love so much.

I was so proud of my son this year! First year out hunting and he got this blacktail doe.
9 year old kid... 17 yard shot, 50 yard recovery. Perfect heart shot!
Original Red Wing Hunter, 42# @28
Zwickey Delta broadhead.
His arrow penetrated through both sides of the rib cage and stopped just under the skin on the opposite side.
I'm not sure who was more excited... me or him!
I forgot my camera
so I had to snap a photo in the field with my cell phone.

When we got home I took a few more pictures...
I know he looks big for a 9 year old... he turned 10 about a month later but the story is better as a 9 year old!
