This is the "short" presentation for Hill style fans who aren't builders. There's a more detailed item on the Bowyer's Bench.
This is string follow Hill style made to be as "all bamboo" as I could... bamboo lams, wedges and riser under clear glass. It was a project that gave me trouble, coming in lighter than I planned, (the string follow takes a bigger formula adjustment than I allowed for) but I readjusted and went for a light bow. At first, the all laminated bamboo riser didn't look that good to me, but when finished and dressed up with a contrasting leather wrap it came out nice.
The bow is 66" and 31@25, very slim and graceful, smooth drawing and, in spite of the extreme string follow, has acceptable speed. I opted for a shelfless shoot off the hand ambidextrous design
The name was, of course, a natural...

Riser made up of laminated pieces of vertically laminated bamboo. The
wrap came out very nicely. A double layer of leather provides the arrow
reference and the lacing pulled it tight into the dished grip

This is a slim Hill style bow with a nice riser for a small hand. Here it is shown next to a Hill Robin Hood for comparison of grip width.
The grip really feels nice in my hand.
