Welcome, there are tons of information on here to help you and don't be afraid to PM anyne for more specifics!

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Welcome Alfie,

Been all throughout Norway and to the very top as well...actually married in Skorsvog (North cape)...will be there again next summer.  I have only been to Stockholm but would love to see you in northern Sweden someday!  Come on over to one of our big summer rendezvous someday (MI or PA)  you'll be overwhelmed by what you see here!

Best of luck in your pursuits!  This is a great forum and very addicting.

Kis

Welcome Alfie,

Tell us about the animals there where you are.  Even if you can't shoot them, it's nice to see pictures.  Do you have any?  todd

I work with many Swedes.  You have a great country, I'd love to hunt someday.  Keep working on those lawmakers and let us know what we can do to help.

WOW!
Thank´s for a warm welcome!
Nice to see that some of you been to my country.
I'll try to answer some of the questions that you have.
I live about 100km south of the arctic circle, that's about 350km from Kiruna.
At the moment we have -18 degrees below zero and a meter of snow.
We have daylight from june to august 24h aday, sun never sets and in winter it never rises.
As for the wildlife it's pretty much alike northern part of us, moose, brown bears, dagers, redfox, red deer, grouse, black grouse, capercaille, wood grouse, hare and so on.

Pretty strikt laws about hunting tho and about keeping firearms.
Fishing isnt that hard restictied but you need a permit in most waters, and we have what we call the "all man right" witch means that I'm allowed to walk on someones land and in the woods, picking muchrooms and berries, hiking, making camp and so on, without asking the landowner.

I have relatives in the US, from Colorado to Florida, not that much contact with them tho :/

Hope that I've answered some of the questions any way...

Oh...and please feel free to correct my typing and spelling if need be  ;)

Welcome!
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
