What do you guys think of the SLick Trick 125 broadheads??? Shooting about 50 lbs on 29' pull... Maybe pulling a few more lbs. on another bow by hunting season???

If its the same size as the ones I've seen, they are too small for my taste.
Not enough cut width.

I talked with Gary the maker. He said he has a few trad guys shooting them. I know you can sharpen the tips so they could be like a cut on contact.

I used them when I shot a compound and they do put a huge hole in a animal. it was impressive. If he made them in 145 gr I'd use them I think. Fly great out of the 300 fps compound should fly great out of the 180 fps recurve.

The "Slick Tricks" shot extremely well out of my, ahemm, comp**nd bow.
They should work very well out of a 170-190 fps bow.
And, like Mr. Nordwell states, if they came in an heavier weight, I would use those.

I think there would be a penetration problem due to the steep blade angle. They do pop an extremely large hole due to the blade angle but I think for trad bows you would be better off with a better length to width ratio like a Woodsman or Razorcap.

I think you should forget about slick tricks the are built for compound shooters and will not give very good results stick with snuffers or woodsmans and watch quick kills and awesome penteration KISS system best why fool with slick tricks if you do you will be sorry

These are an excelent BH for Wheel bows, however I think you will be handicaped on a trad bow with them.
