Nice job. It was getting kind of funny with all your posts. I was really hoping you would follow thru and actually make some after all the questions. You did a great job. Now keep it up. It only gets easier with each one.

One thing I do is cut them at the rear halfway up in a 45 degree angle back towards the front because the long feathers will tickle your nose.

It was fun learning with you. No need to feel awkward. We all are a little funny at times.

yea. well im still gonna learn to make woodies. i am determined and already have some shafts commin. those prob wont turn out as good as my carbons ive made do. this is a first for me. ive made many flu flus for me and friends but never the spiral type. i just decided to try it and well they didnt turn out real pretty like and were a pain in the butt to put on and get to stay n. so thats the last one of those for awhile.
thanks,
steven

They look great. Don't sell yourself short on the Spiral, it looks fine. I've done alot of fletching, but haven't tried Spiral Flu-Flu's or Splicing yet. Well done!

First time, your a natural! Which type did she end up liking (spiral or straight)? I find I use the spiral more, as the straight dont seem to slow the arrow down at all....
