Has been Cedar ,but just got some Surewoods from Braveheart,they are sure close in spine and weight,very impressed.

Fir has been my favorite arrow wood for a long time, but I've been well served by POC, ramin and laminated birch as well.

My favorite is Douglas fir from Surewood shafts. Best I've used. Haven't got my hildebran's yet.

Another for the Douglas Fir from Surewoods.  I've only placed two orders, but I've yet to find one that needs straightening.  Outstanding customer service, too.
