Lots of guys from the mitten on here, and lots of events coming up nearby. The Traditional Bowhunter's Expo is in Kalamazoo in two weeks, and the Great Ohio Rabbit Hunt is coming in the middle of February.

Welcome to the gang!

Thanks Guys, I grew up shooting stick bows my first bow was an old Ben Pearson Bronco, always enjoyed being attached to my ol mans hip at all the rendevous and shoots when i was a lil pup, I shot my first deer when I was 12 with a Selway Longbow and a bear razorhead, i have yet to get one with the stick since then, because i lost all confidence in my shooting ability one unfortunate day and picked up a set of training wheels, well needless to say after taking a couple of nice bucks and a handful of does it got to the point where i got bored, and sick of seeing all the horn porn on television. i purchased the Fred Bear DVD set from Three Rivers, and that was all i needed to relight the flame, i acquired a 64 Kodiak and it was off to the races, i am getting back to the basics of why we do it and get back to doing it not to kill an animal but to enjoy Gods country and all the wonderful gifts we as bow hunters get to enjoy.( its just a shame that the majority of hunters are blinded to this)
