Thanks Mudd for the post and to add a note, the pics of the arrow really don't do it justice. I did PM Jeff about the spiral burn on the shaft. Looks easy to do an really makes the arrow super beautiful.

I got mine today. I was a bit worried when I saw the box crushed on one end. And my worries were confirmed. Shaft was broken.

A nicely footed wooden arrow with a self nock. Nice contrasting light shaft wood with darker wood at the tips.

UPS hasn't won a fan in me. Box was crushed at the joint of the footing. And that's where the shaft was snapped.

It was packaged very well too, but when the shipping carrier treats a package like this it's doubtful anything would survive. Sorry to vent and rain on the nice thread, but my excitement to receive my gifted arrow ended in a less than desireable manner.

This arrow trade was a great idea and I'm looking forward to next year's swap.

I sent Nosight my arrow via priority mail close to two weeks ago.  Don't know if he got it or not.  I figure it is still on a dog sled being pulled by a lame sloth.  Long ways from Arkansas to Washington but it took me less time to drive from Fairbanks Alaska to SC.

Took me 12 days in Nov of 85 to drive to Anchorage from Greensboro, NC. And we hit snow in Iowa for the rest of the way!!

I still look at this thread and am amazed at the generosity and artistry of arrows shown.

Post up photos of your arrows so the rest of us can look too. :)
