I was wondering where the Western States was going to be this year.  What town is it at?  It is certainly within striking distance, and what about the Oregon Bowhunter Convention? Which weekend and where?  Feb is filling up quick with projects, but I wouldn't want to miss an event so close to home.

The Schleyer is awesome looking. When or is there a East Coast show these will be at?

South, the Oregon Bowhunter Convention is Feb.25-27 and the Western States in May 28-30 (Memorial Day weekend) at Tygh Valley, Oregon. If you go to Traditional Archers of Oregon website and look under "About" you'll find the Western States info. Oregon Bowhunter Convention is   http://www.oregonbowhunters.com/convention.htm

  http://www.taoregon.com/about.html
This is the link to Western States. It's the Traditional Archers of Oregon website. Just look down to the link to Western States. Right now their site is being updated...nothing showing yet.

Like to see you at one or both!....and your bows! haha

South , I did not check your website but, are  you planning to make a donation to the Bart Schleyer memorial fund for every Schleyer longbow you sell, similar to your program with the Schleyer TD recurve? Thanks for your generousity. Mike

I have a Stalker recurve that is beautiful and shoots great. I would bet that South would hold high expectations for his one piece and his take-down longbows. Looking forward to shooting them next week.

Mike,
I'm going to keep the donation program running on the Schleyer longbows as well. I've got a picture of Artyom shooting the #001 recurve that I gave to him earlier this past summer (thought it would be fitting for him to have the first). I'll work on getting some pics posted of the 3 piece take downs.  I'll have the bows at Kalamazoo, ETAR and Compton this year.  Looking forward to seeing all of you "Easterners" again!

South,

Bob Larson wants one of these real bad.  I hope you get him one soon so I can try it come March, lol.  Really nice looking bow!

Bob is on the list, I'll make sure to get his done before you're up there.  It's bowyer's choice on the woods for his bow, this is gonna be fun!

Boy, I'm kind of afraid to try one of these - it could be an expensive test drive!

But I'll see you in Kalamazoo      I've got to see those beauties in person!
