When I am shooting I can barely tell the difference-except maybe in my head; shoot them both equal.

Shoot Best ---------     Heavy Handled Recurve

Second Best --------     Narrow Limbed, Deep Cored Howard Hill Bow

Least Best ----------    Deflex/Reflex wide limbed, narrow core Longbow

Fill the Freeze With ---    Narrow Limbed, Deep Cored Howard Hill Bow

Really can't explain it, just the way it is.

I picked up my longbow the other day and after a few rounds i seemed to be pretty consistent and probably as equally as my recurve, but that was only at 12 yards in my basement

I shoot both, just seem to enjoy my longbows more but then again they are hybrids

I enjoy a straight grip the most and shoot a high wrist grip the best ,yet never get the enjoyment out of shooting a high grip. My choice is a medium-low grip with either long bow or recurve limbs. My accuracy is about the same for either, however I prefer the LB feel.

Sorry, can't vote.

Don't have a true longbow or recurve, but like my r/d longbows, hybrids, flatbows, or whatever they are called.

got a Hill style bow..I can't miss with but is heavy and I'm gettin old.....have a 1967 Superkodiak I don't miss with .. I think each bow is different....long limbs and narrow width  longbows are more forgiving  of form...heavy riser recurves are dam accurate if your form is good..Just my 2cents

My feeling is that long, heavy riser recurves are as forgiving of form errors as it gets. 61 KS, 63 Polar and 63 KS, all at 66 inches shoot very consistently for me. The 61 will be my go to bow for hunting this year as it is its 50 anniversary.
Paid 66 dollars for it a while ago and it has the most gorgeous zebrawood riser imaginable.

Course my other zebrawood riser is pretty nice as well.

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Did the poll and answered honestly: Recurve, but I love shooting longbow limbs

God bless bowyers who started making it possible to put longblow limbs on recurve handles.

I just need either that style grip or the mass in the riser to shoot consistently. Love the sleek, slender looks of true longbow, but can't hit the broadside of a barn consistently.  :(

started with a recurve little fiberglass recurve to a bear Bear Grizzly to a super kodiak TD, but over time my preference went from recurve to longbow

I shoot them both very well but my recurves are now backup bows, have been for the last 20 years or more

Prefer straight handled longer LB's.
