How does this work? Just a curious question. I have dial up (I know I'm old fashion but blame my wife)  :D   and I have a heck of a time downloading anything. Any help would be great! Thank's Jason

I don't know about dial up but when you go into it I'd advise reading all of the instructions. Then you plug in the data on your arrows and bow and follow directions.  You can play with the components of the arrow til your heart's content.

You just click on the link and it will open for you then play away.

Yes the calculator does work if the information put into it is correct.  The 2 numbers that have the greatest effect are the center cuts and string information.

Stu's calculator is a Microsoft Excel Program and runs best on a Windows Platform.

The calculator is a great tool especially if you are thinking of changing arrow shafts for any reason.  If you have an arrow that shoots well off of your bow, put it into the calculator and record the results.

You can then use other shafts to get the same number and have a good spot to start tuning.  You still need to tune but it can save you a bunch of money in wrong spined shafts.

This calculator helped immensly with my re-intro to trad. It saved alot of arrow spine questions, and let me focus on form, knowing that form was affecting the arrow flight/accuracy and not improper spine.

I'd make a cup or two of coffee if using dial up. Once its downloaded its all up to your computer.

One item: if your bow is not in the drop down list, make sure you accurately check all the factors that need input on the calc.

This program can be greatly affected by the garbage IN garbage OUT saying. When properlyused, its great.

It is a big help if you are changing arrow materials from one to another.  If you have arrows made of aluminum that fly well plug the data into the calculator and then match up the static spine on carbon or wood.  Can save a lot of money buying raw materials.

Can someone run it for me been having a hard time trying to use my new Gt's.  I'm shooting 45# Gamemaster w/ 26" draw.  28" 3555 Gt's.  Not sure the string or center cut info.  Any help is appreciated!  Been trying every point weight and everything is getting worse. Prior arrows were Easton 500 older epics and where perfect w/ 125 fp. Guess these GT's are a big difference

Jay you left out the most important data.. center cut + plate thickness and string type.

I goofed with the calculator and might suggest you try this. The arrow you indicate has a dynamic spine of about 74
Best guess on bow is you need about 53


TRY 100 grain insert and adjust center cut to -1/16 and you might get close.

Just one of many ways to skin the cat..
