Nice to see the completion of a quest.  Congratulations.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Way to go Moose eye. I thought about braving the cold but HAD to take eagleeye to the movies. lol. It sure was cold that day. I'll be heading out myself this weekend. Not much time left and I need another doe in the freezer.

And the old becomes new again!

Was out your way looking for a deer just like that one, but had to come back home. AEP site was all closed up for the season I suppose. I was looking forward to some quiet hunting in SE Ohio, but it didn't work out. I might be headed out that way for the last weekend of season though.

Take care, all is well here.

I'd love to have one of those old Brownings. Never shot one, but from their appearance they are better made than a bear from that era. Way to go Man!
