I attended the initial "Hog Holler" along with a buddy from California. Here's a quick overview of this hunt, put on by "Longarrow".
We arrived in Austin and decided to rent a vehicle even though "Longarrow" offered to pick us up, and drove through the Texas countryside till we got to Taylor, Texas. Then to the WMA where we met Ricky and the boys for the first time. Very hospitable and top notch guys. We bought food and brought an ice chest but didn't really need it much as we were treated like family. The evidence of hogs was all around us and being new to this type of hunting was a challenge. Several hogs were seen but none taken as much was learned about this quarry. I won't be able to make it this year for i'm working on a cabin (so all my Texas friends can Elk hunt here in Idaho)but watch out next year, I'll be back in Texas looking for the elusive HOG. If you want an inexpensive, fun hog hunt on public land , this is the one for you. Good luck.
