Longbow Gurus,What strings for your HH,Mowawks etc ?

All my bows carry SBD D10,s and I absolutely love em,What do you use on your longbows? and why.

You will get a few different opinions.Best to check with the bowyer so you have no problems.

All mine wear D97 or D10. I personally don't care for B50.

B-50.........why, because I like it and I have lots and I can make my own strings.....and I like it! It works fine!

Ron, do you like B 50 ?   :laughing:  

I use B50 and other low stretch stuff . I don't find a huge diference to be honest.
With the B50 i shoot a bare string and I'll add some silencers to the low stretch.
I mainly use B50 because I have so much of it lying around.

Ron,I bet you like B50 ! LOL.It seams with all my other bows there was a real differance between B50,D97 and then D10.with heavily padded loops the D10 was so superior in every way.Just me.

I use D-97 or SBD.  Ihave had good luck with TS-1 also.  So far SBD has ben my favorite.

This is pretty easy.  I always use B-50 (or should I say B-50, B-50, B-50, B-50) because I've never heard of the other stuff!

I use D97,8125 and 450+ on all my longbows.The only bows I use B50 on are a couple of older vintage recurves.

450+ on my Big 5, and all my other bows.  except for primitive bows, and some old recurves, they get B-50
