Anybody else have this problem with McKenzie 3D targets?
« on: January 27, 2011, 02:10:00 PM »
I can't find them! My standing black bear to the right and my broadside whitetail just to the left....they were there yesterday right in front of the haybales, anybody seen them?

I had a new one disappear a couple of years ago.  I went in for supper and came out and someone stole it off my yard in full daylight.  I sent the cops after every archer in the area.  It was dumped on a yard a block away three days later.  The man called me and it was taken from his yard before I got there to pick it up.  My backyard target is frozen to the ground and buried, this is the fourth winter in a row of this terrible global warming hiding my target in the snow.

I can't find mine either under all the snow. I need a new one anyway after a black bear ripped the head off my deer target this year.I guess i will find it in the spring.

Back before McKenzies and that type target I had 5 Perrine targets (flat 2-D) in my yard that I left out all the time (over a year)to shoot whenever I wanted.  Came home one day and they were all gone.  My brother lived about a mile from me at the time and I thought that he was playing a joke on me.  Called him up and gave him a ration of stuff over the phone.  He knows nothing of what I'm talking about.  Someone really did steal them!  Looked around all the archers houses that I knew and never did find them.

Mine looks just like that. Haven't been able to shoot for over a month. I've been locked-down in my sailboat for 3 days, and I've only ridden one of my motorcycles one day since the Dec 26 Blizzard. We've still got alot of snow from that storm, with 6 small to large storms since. I hate Winter! I'll take mid Oct to mid Nov all year round.

I must be a lucky guy, I have a sheep barn that is 240ft long. Flood lights help alot also, but it still gets a little cold too shoot sometimes. But I lose my Glendale Bucks in the winter also on my outdoor range. Spring I hope soon. Don

Now I feel bad for shooting with the wife today, nice and sunshine in south Ms 54 degrees. I was working on my trade bow and she came out in the shop with her bow and offered the challenge. Had to stop and have a shoot-out with her.
