You are Blessed!
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

Thanks again guys.

She was 15 yards from the target...but I would guess she was only about 12-13 yards from the pumpkin.
Until next time...good shooting,
Lee

Great work!

I wish someone had started me right.  It's easier to not start bad habits than to break them.

I am left eye dominant too, but right handed.
I shoot left-handed also. No problem.
I think she just forces that bow a little bit too much into the vertical axis. This doesn't seem to be her natural fist angle. I don't know if her individual fist angle is really this vertical? I think that puts the bow a little more into her "sight" picture than it needs to be. Also, the grip of the bow seems pretty straight. Is there any "indexer" somewhere under the leather for consistent hand placement? It seems that it is easy to grip the bow not 100% at the pressure point. I see that the grip is slim enough for her index and thumb to touch comfortably.  I like her KISA armguard :-))
I still have mine as well, was wondering what was going on with KISA after seeing the webpage gone... Her cap has some great voyageur styling....

You can see some pictures of the bow's grip on this page...

Good eye there to recognize the armguard. We shut down KISA back sometime around 2004 or so. While I no longer make armguards or backquivers for sale, I do of course make a few for family and friends. I am not a big promoter of excessive canting of the bow. Some is fine. That said, I have never altered her cant either vertical or slanted. I did tell her I wanted the arrow under her eye, but that is all. Anything else that she does in that area has been natural so far.
Until next time...good shooting,
Lee

Excellent,way to go
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Lee,
the only alteration to the armguard was the replacement of the leather strap with one of those elastic round laces and a plastic stopper with a pushknob. Many archers in Germany  modelled their own armguards after this design after seeing me using it at 3D-shoots and saw how quick it can be put on, off and how it will always automatically adjust to the amount of clothing you wear.
With the "indexer", I usually put a small piece of leather under my leather grip that my tip of the middle finger touches, That makes sure my hand placement is always perfect. This placement is individual for every shooter. I shoot this out, because every bow has a sweet spot, where the bow shoots most accurate for the particular shooter. This handplacement is marked with the indexer for me, always gripping the bow right even in stressful situation where my main concentration is on something else...
