I Bought the Snake
« on: January 29, 2011, 09:11:00 PM »

I went to Raptor Archery in Hood River, OR, this morning and bought the Raptor Osage Snaky and Snake-skinned self bow.  58 lbs. @ 27".  64" length.  I spent a couple hours at the shop.  Ted let me shoot several different bows.  This was the bow I'd gone up there originally to buy.  I just loved the way it shot.  It's a very beautiful bow.
I've heard it said that Christianity is a crutch.  To me, it's a walking stick to use on the path of life.

Looks like you don't want to lay that one down. I'd be jumping sideways. Nice bow. Hap

Great looking bow, I was bitten by a snake once, many moons ago..◄------------<<<
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

Glad that you picked that bow Don , that is a special piece of wood no doubt, probably need a few closeups to show off the bow.
Good form by the way!
Good luck on your move to MI and good hunting, all you MI guys help Don out with hunting spots.
