Les,
your mossy oak jacket is killing me!  I like mossy oak when I am wearing it, not when I have to draw it, LOL!  I work on it a little and then go to something else.

By the way, I am not done with your faces.  At the very least I need to darken them up.  But they will change hopefully for the better.

When I saw the photo I wondered how you'd handle the glare on their glasses.  Looks like you're going to handle it just fine.  Beautiful work!

Insane!  I must have been under a rock not to have seen this before.

How do I order one?  I got a pic or two for sure...

Dang Chip, don't tell me that you were at Western Veterinary Conference.  I was there all last week and would have loved to see some of your work first hand and to get to meet you in person.  Oh well, too late now.

Just thought I would share with ya'll how this piece just did in the 2011 KC Woodcarvers Show and Competition.

Well, Les and Pete got 1st place in the shallow relief carving category.  Also, the judge liked it so much she picked it as 2nd Place for Best of Show.  It is the first time a woodburn has ever placed in Best of Show in the 38 plus years that they have been doing this show.

It must have something to do with the brothers' good looks!    :scared:

I'd like to see the "best in show" considering that second place went to such immaculate artwork! Amazing quality work, Hooked!
