just say when! would love to go up early and maybe try our luck at putting an arrow in a hare, i know its a bout a 1 in a million chance but hey that means we have a CHANCE!!! think i might carry the Slammer there next time if ya invite us up again, would be a great place to brake it in. i'll pack a thermos of coffee in with us too.

Sweet pics guys. Looks like loads of fun. Ive been trying to convince the boss that I need some snow shoes. Maybe this thread will help.

I dont think that will work too well. She is just content sitting by the fire. I cant get her to leave the house with all the white stuff on the ground. Must be something about being born 90 miles south of Florida.

Good stuff.  

Love those "Grandmother" trees.  Hereabouts they usually mark an old property line - especially the corners.  There are a couple oaks and hemlocks nearby that are "originals" to when this area hadn't been harvested.  If you ever get io California be sure to visit the redwood stands.  Trees that big just numb the mind.

I have wanted a set of Ojbway [spelling?] for years, they just have a classic look to them....plus I hear they work good!

Great post Ken, I just broke my snowshoes out.  I have about 30 ins left on the ground now, with another 5 coming tomorrow!

I was a bit surprised at the amount or lack of snow at camp...only about 2 foot. Most times this time of year it's to the bottom of the windows of the camp or about waist deep....more come'n in the next few days.....
