Evergreen Dymondwood
« on: January 31, 2011, 02:44:00 PM »
Hello fellow Tradgangers.
Just wondering if anyone knows of anybody that may have a stick of Evergreen Dymondwood. I have checked all my suppliers and they are currently out of it. It is not a color that I stock and not having any luck finding any. I am trying to go the extra mile and find some for my customer even if I have to eat any extra cost.     I appreciate any help if anyone knows where I could find a piece. It does not have to be any bigger than 1 1/2" by 1 1/2" by 24"

thanks, Jim

I would post this in the bowyers bench as well.

Maybe give Mike Pyeatt at Rosewood Archery a call. He sells wood to a lot of the big name bowyers including Black Widow.

Tim, asking other bowyers where they get their wood is like asking a fisherman where his favorite fishing hole is.

Old master crafter had some greens and other colors at Kalamazoo this past weekend, I am not sure if it was the color you are looking for but might be worth a try.

Hey guys,
I found a chunk but at a premium price. Oh well, this is going to make a certain customer very happy. Thanks for the help!
