The only thing I don't care for is the wrist strap. I called them and they said they would make me a longer strap to fit my wrist. I wish it was made in a buckle style.

I just ordered one in elk. I hope it is as good as some say.

You'll love the elk. I agree that a buckle option would be nice.

2blade, I took an old glove like yours, I cut the palm out, installed nylon and plastic inserts stalls and use it for my back up to my american leathers glove, Terry is right, there hard to beat.

I use one.   I think it is not sized correctly for me.  But when it is on right....Whoa Nelly! The shots are great.

I've had a bunch of them, but really don't care for them all that much. I also have a traditional with inserts from American Leathers which I like. But right now my favorite is a Howard Hill Glove with inserts. Also like Batemans gloves with inserts.

I have the buffalo and elk glove and they are both awesome.  Definitely my favorite glove.  Shot tabs for so many years, never liked gloves until I tried this one and I really like them.  I shoot a deep hook into the crease with no problems.  Elk is softer, but the buffalo feels good too!  They are not too hot and I just wear a light glove under it when it is cool!  Mark

Nice glove but dual seams and the stitching on finger stalls is bulky.

Been shooting my elk skin big shot for about four years now.  Nylon is starting to fray a little and I have worn grooves into it.  Figure it's just time for a new glove.  This one has lasted three years longer than any other glove I've ever shot.  The finger stalls will take a moderately deep hook, i.e., the first joint, but they're not terribly long.  A hook between the first and second joint might end up behind the stalls.  I, too, would much prefer a snap rather than the velcro closure.  Every time I put it in my wool day pack, it latches on to the pack and a few other items which tend to come with it when I retrieve it.

I have had both the Buffalo and the Elk. I think somehow the dog "et" the Buffalo one. Also, thought it was softer than the Elk. I had to trim a piece about an 1/8"x1/8" off the anchor finger because it bruised my lip.I love mine

Use a Tie On String Nock instead of the Brass ones. Been shooting my original glove for over two years now.. with basically no wear to the nylon at all.

String Nocks are more "traditional" anyway.

A dab of cooking oil on them will re slick them up nicely .....and you can trim off the fuzz with a small pair of scissors, or one of those 'fuss eater' you wife probably has.

I also oil up th insides of the index and middle finger so there's no sqeak on the draw against the arrow nock.

Fraying isn't caused by the nock.  It's on all three fingers, caused by hard use for four years.  I'll give the cooking oil a try.  Thanks.

Gently wave a lighter or match over the nylon...it will seal the frays.

I use a little leather waterproofing paste on the nylon as well as on the leather.  Really slick finish.
