Stumpin in the snow

With a 3 foot base under my snowshoes I feel like staying home but you gotta keep going!  If you shoot towards unbroken snow arrows are easy to locate if you miss your target.

Nice!! That's what I need to be doing. I love stumping in the snow.

We're headed for some real deep snow here, but I was out the other day before the old layer disappeared.

Of course there were ulterior motives.

Thanks for the Pictures......♠
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

I guess I have no excuse.  Especially since my wife got me a small arrow finder I can carry on my belt and detect the tips.  Looks to good to pass up!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
