Snakebit Bow and a Snakebit Knife!
« on: February 01, 2011, 10:40:00 AM »
WHen I got contracted Dan Masson to make me a knife out of the leftover Snakewood and Ebony from my Norm Johnson built Snakebit, my expectations were very high. He exceeded them.

It's beautiful, but made me cringe to see a knife laying on a gorgeous bow. No doubt you are more co-ordinated than I am.

It'd be hard to find a finer pair of gear than that! Just beautiful Bill. Congrats to you on ownership, and Hats-Off to the talented craftsmen who made them.     :notworthy:        :clapper:

P.S.  I just tried that last pic as Wallpaper (BackGround) and it sure is pretty, and should work as a "mood lifter" when I fire the computer up after a rough day on the job.

How do you like the stippling on the grip? I have always ordered the checkering. Now that he offers the stippling I might go that way.
What veneers did you get for the limbs?

That is an outrageous knife/bow combo!
