New Arm Gurard
« on: February 01, 2011, 02:10:00 PM »
I got this new Arm guard in the mail this week thought I'd share.  It was made by Art Vincent.  One nice guy and a helluva craftsman.  It was worth the wait!

Very nice indeed, sir!
Having done so much, with so little, for so long, I can now do anything with nothing.

Thanks, It's going to be hard to bring my self to wear it for fear of ruining the paint!

No, I purchased the knife a couple years back and it just worked out perfectly.  Its a Knife made by Muela.  (made in spain) bought on a vacation in Colorado.  Very nice knife Art matched it nicely!

Beautiful!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

I have a quiver and an armguard from Art and I agree he puts out a great product and is awesome to deal with.  Funny story... I purchased a quiver from him around late Sept and then killed my biggest buck to date.  Then I ordered an armguard from him and the first time that I wore it I shot a bigger buck.  Art puts some good luck in his products!

Art's work is covetted.

He is developing one for me.  However, most likely not as showy since he is using my design concept and I doubt I have any relevent artistry within me.

Mine should be finsihed w/i the next couple of weeks and I remain hopeful he can work some magic with what I gave him.

Congrats on the beautiful arm guard and my hats off to Art!

Nice!  I figured it was Art's as soon as I saw it. He had a lot of nice stuff at the Kzoo expo.  I got one of his pouch pocket quivers.  I also gave him a knife to build me a matching sheath.  I almost got one of those nice arm guards, but I only use them in the cold to hold my coat sleeve so it would be too nice to set around most of the time.  I thought that his stuff was really reasonably priced for the quality.
