68"+ Longbow Kill-Pics?
« on: June 09, 2007, 11:30:00 AM »
Nothing against short bows. They have their place/popularity. And maybe it's a dog days question as well. But love to see some pics of harvests with your looong bows!

A cold weather Michigan buck that I shot with a 68" 90#@28" Osage bow by Brian Pridgon. The man with me is Linn Clark who was shooting a 70" 80#@28" longbow of his own make.

Great pics Ron!!!  Yep you guys are tough shooting 80-90# bows but what is tougher is that there squirrel shot with an 85# bow and the arrow didn't go thru it.  Now thats tough!

Another young buck pic..me not the deer ha ha. The deer was a 134# dressed Kentucky doe. The bow a 68" Martin ML10. Think the hunter was 38 at the time (much older now)..geez look at that old (new at the time) Crumley tree Bark camo   :biglaugh:
