Great Night
« on: February 03, 2011, 07:37:00 PM »
Well my new bow arrived today. New Wild Horse Creek Recurve. 52#@28" 60" long. Mike Dunnaway out did himself again. Its a real beauty and shoots great. Will post pics when I can figure out how to do it. So being me I had to try it out, so when the mrs. called and said it was in I packed up and headed home. 22 deg and 7" of new snow curtisy of the last storm called for some rabbit hunting. Three rabbits were nice enough to present me with shots. So being the nice guy I am, I took my shot and then allowed them to go on their way. But it was a great night. Me and my dogs spent some quality time in the field. They did look at me funny when I missed. Think their getting discouraged. Well better luck next time.

Have to agree it was a great night. A bad day hunting is better than a good day working.

Robert,
There was a thread on here with a "how to" for posting pics the "easy way".  I have not tried it myself but it is supposed to be tons easier than the photobucket..

I see Mudd is here...he is a pro with the pics..

Sounds like a great day for you...cold tho!

Nice Pic. Nice Bow, dogs, etc. Your Lab looks like mine.

It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

Nice looking bow. Looks like you had a duo of happy participants. Even in the snow. They must have had cabin fever also. Thanks for taking us along today.

Mike does beautiful work. This is number 3 of his I own. I now own 2 longbows 56" 54@28 and 54" 51@28. Now the recurve 60" 52@28. The 56" is still my go to bow light shoots hard and where I point. Not that I always point in the right place but shoots where I point. The dogs are in a perpetual case of cabin fever I open the door and their ready to go to the woods.

That's a great looking Bow!  I love the classic recurve look.  Nice looking dogs also.  My dogs have cabin fever even worse than me.  Thanks for sharing your pictures.
