Skinner, is that the same Tulipwood PSR that is leaning against the vehicle with the Osage PL? It looks darker, but that might be the light...

No.  Those are both PLX's Ben leaning against my truck.

The bow above is a greybark (PSR II, 52 @ 28) and I also have a PSRX in Bocote (60 @ 28).

CS - No 2fer one deals!  LOL.

Had a good year and that was my "bonus".  Being self employed, you have to reward yourself somehow.  Saved a bit on shipping but that was it.  Skinner.

Tell us how they shoot. I have been thinking about getting a BW long bow. Every one I have shot is a lot quieter than any recurve I have ever shot. BW claims the speed of their long bows is the same as the recurves. Do you agree?

hi i get 180 feet per sec with a 620 grain arrow
out off my  bw plv 62# @29 inch ,idraw closer to 30
my friend shoot my arrow out off his 60 pound at 29 inch compound  bowtec he got 206 feet so the differance is not as much as some people think .
off course a compound will aways be faster but it seems that the differance betwen a 45 pound compound and a 45 pound recurve or longbow is alot more than for example a 65 pound comp versus
a 65 pound recurve or longbow i dont know why but i know it is that way . the higher poundage you come upp to and the heavier arrow you use the differance betwen trad and compound speeds are less at higer pound and heavier arrows

slayer1 - I don't have a chrono to post solid numbers.

I can tell you I really like them and I also like the fact that I can switch between them and my 2 PSR recurves of the same poundages without making any adjustments in my noodle.  The only thing I had to get use to is the beavertail grips.  They may come off yet and get replaced by sure grips.  I like the way they feel but they make the grip area just a shade thicker and they feel a little different in the hand.
