Great Northern break down
« on: February 05, 2011, 05:51:00 AM »
Today, feeling i have something to do to prepare the next hunting season in 9 months ....

I made a mistake trying to modify the angle of my side mount Great Northern bow quiver

i broke the down arm ... i'm a so nice idiot !   :knothead:

I want now to purchase a new one arm but on the Great Northern Web site i found only phone numbers , nothing like an email adress to reach Mr Shepard . I'm from France and calling is to expensive

did somebody have an email of great northern ?

Thank you and have a great day

David

David, I checked their site and found that there is no e-mail address listed. There is however a printable ordering form that may help you out. I don't know if they sell just an arm or not but if they don't, there is always a used Great Northern quiver or two in the classifieds under quivers. Their website is  www.greatnorthernquivers.com  Good luck!

Today is Saturday, February 5th. I will try and call them later on today, but with it being Saturday, they may not be around the shop.

I know they sell alot of replacement parts for their quivers.

Can you possibly post a picture so we can see exactly which part it is you need?

Whatever it takes, we can get your quiver fixed.  :wavey:

I'm sure this isn't the first time one has been broken at that spot. I've used pliers and bent mine there too. I like the arrows angeld back and this is an easy way to do it.

if you can heat the metal then bend it will keep it from breaking. That's what I did.

Do they have a contact us spot on their website? I would call and let them know what you need and I am sure they will sell you the part or get you one. You will not find finer people than the folks from Great Northern...bows or acc.

I called and Rick shepard, the owner, told me "not a problem". The wire you need is readily available. (I was surprised he was around to answer the phone)

He is unsure how much shipping would cost to get it to you. No charge for the steel wire itself.

The phone call is free for me, and I would be happy to help you in any way I can.

He does not have an E-Mail address, but is more than willing to help.

Maybe, if you would like, I could arrange to have the part shipped to me, and then I will ship it on to you.

My wife sends packages overseas to my nephew, who is a U.S. Marine and she says shipping is not very expensive.

You could just consider it a benefit of being a Trad Gang member.  :D

Im glad to help if I can.
