Welcome Rick!
Black Widows are a heck of a bow, but if you poke around you'll find there are LOTS of nice bows out there. The more you look the harder it is to narrow down a choice.
I usually look first at used and cheap.

Welcome aboard, Sir. Greybark is a good choice for hunting. I have a Greybark PAII that I hunt with. It blends in with the trees real well. Pretty, too.

I too am making the change after some 30 years, should of done this sooner. those widows are real nice, out of my league as we speak. It'll cool an ego though, after so many years of 1/2 dollar size groups to wow all over the target. I guess I'll be practicing for a long, long, long time.

Welcome! Where in Jersey are you? Don't know if you go to the shoots, but the Whittingham Trad shoot at the end of April is coming-up. I can't wait, this winter is taking a serious toll on me! It's not a competition, just lots of fun.

Welcome, though this might not be the place for an addict, since we are all also addicts or enablers
