I posted that granite etching to show how others have found a connection to our heritage through art. Yes Kenn ( 1screagle ) is more than happy to get any of your memories down to an heirloom. Our film should be considered an art form, and we hope it will entertain you. The glass master has been created and the duplicators are pressing discs now.  Mike

When viewing Essential Encounters, one can only see beauty in every story that is told. Through this visual awesomeness, comes the vivid dreams of being in that very place, seeing puffs of an exhale and seeing detail of whiskers on a whitetails face. The sounds of being in the wilderness adds to the visual, when closing your eyes you'll swear you feel the breeze from the wings of birds passing by. The heartfelt narration and words of wisdom flow like the wind around and thru the stories created by this wonderful work of art! Truely no other word to decribe anything that stirs your soul as beautifully as this labor of love. Can't wait for mine!

It's worth the wait guys. Gene and Barry started previewing the DVD Monday night at Pig Gig. The photography is outstanding. And their commentary as it went along was priceless. They pointed out details that I probably never would have noticed. And it was really interesting to hear a history of particular deer - how they had both passed on a deer for a few years or how a couple of very unique deer simply disappeared. It's not all hunting. Ever seen a deer have a sneezing fit? It's all there.

Maybe I should clarify. Their commentary is not on the video. It's what we heard from them in person.

At this point the duplicators are not telling us when they will be finished. With Gene and Barry down in Texas, the order will be split between Iowa and Illinois. As soon as we get them, Donna and Susan Wensel will be getting them to the US post office and out to you guys. I will be sure to let you know when we receive the cases to give you an idea when to start looking for them. Thanks, Mike

Colburn(bowmag) is right on.  Getting to view EC in person with Gene and Barry was awesome.  Those two are so detailed in everything they do which makes them who they are.  What a way to spend the first few days in camp at night watching EC.  It's well worth the wait fellows.
