Kanati bow quiver...
« on: February 08, 2011, 03:17:00 PM »
I swear I saw a pic where the hood of a Kanati 2pc (can't recall if it was a strap-on or limb bolt) quiver was installed backwards or flipped so that the bottom of the arrows would be angled in... or was I seeing things.

If any of you have done this would you mind posting a pic please.

There are some pics on their website like you describe.  You can reverse the hood mount angling it forward and keep the arrow mount rearward so the arrows fletching angle back even more, if that is what you mean.  This would be my choice of use as well.  Just talked to these guys in Kzoo about this.

Thanks Kris. Just found a pic there...

I think I'll try that with a limb bolt Kanati... hopefully it'll fit the bill.

That looks like their angle quiver. I have one and it is the best quiver I ever had.

hhmmm... I didn't/don't see the bracket so I was thinking they just flipped the hoods attachment.   :dunno:

Yep, that's their angle quiver alright.  I picked one up at Kalamazoo.  NICE.

Here's the Angled quiver...

The bracket is very visible... I still think I can just flip the hood mount... either way I'm gonna get a Kanati... just too nice to pass up.

At Kzoo I checked out the new Slim Jim Pro on the demo bow and it's slick mounting system, then asked to buy an Slim Jim Angle for moving through brush.

I packed out and went home to find the Pro I looked at had one mounting system, but the Angle I bought had another. Just something to be aware of if you are looking at the Slim Jim. I don't know if this is true on their other quivers or not.

So the Angle doesn't need that support brace?

Sorry for the confusion, my Slim Jim Angle has that brace too. I was talking about the two different strap mounting styles they have.

Kawika, you are right in the first place. The pro can be flipped to angle the arrows back. The angle, is a whole differant quiver. It attaches to the straps that can be left on the bow and the quiver removed and put on another bow that has the second set of straps that you got . Don
