New Widow joins the family
« on: February 09, 2011, 06:32:00 AM »
After a year or so of saving my pennies, and stewing on what to get, a new PSRX arrived on Monday.  I had "decided" several times on various bow / wood combinations over the course of the year, finally making the PSR decision around Thanksgiving, and deciding on the woods the day I ordered.

The bow is 60 inches, 48 @ 28, Tiger Myrtle and Ironwood.

This is my second PSR, I went for a longer bow (first one is a 56 incher) this time and opted for the "Toby" grip.  I'm really pleased with the Toby grip, figured I'd try it and if I hated it, I could send it back and have it shrunk.  That's not gonna happen.  IMHO, it's decidedly better than the original style grip, and it's a good bit beefier feeling than the pics in the new Widow catalog lead me to think it would be.

Pardon the mess and the somewhat less than professional grade photography.....

Very nice looking psr. I have the 60"ironwood takedown. It is a good hunting bow.It shoots a heavy arrow fast.

Wow, you waited a year...That is a pretty bow! Perfect blend of natural colors. Gorgeous.

The grip looks comfy - a good one for accuracy.

Thanks guys!

I made a call to Widow about 10 minutes after it showed up thanking them; this bow totally exceeded my expectations, I couldn't be happier with it.

Best part about it is that it shoots better than it looks...
