That's cross-cut actionwood veneer on the limbs.

That ain't dirt... Mudd.  It's needles from my bald cypress trees. Our dirt is grayish sand. But it beats the heck out of snow!

Love the Beagles. I sleep with one under each arm... Yeah, they're spoiled.
