really you'll never have a better time on a hunt then on a BQ hunt trust me.The shear beauty of the land is almost beyond words.The fishing is unreal or unreel if you like.One reason is the lodge is far far away from any towns and just does not get that much fishing pressure at all.The lake has about 10-12 different types fish with plenty of muskies in the 20-30# range that can be caught right in front of the camp sometimes right off the dock.The food is outstanding No MRE's on BQ the real deal when it comes to the grub meat and taters we like to eat.Most of Tom's hunters gain weight while on BQ hunts.And as for the actual bear hunting itself.The game department told me there is a population of somewhere between 65-66,000 black bears in that area.If you do not get a chance at a bear ? you should have tried staying awake in the treestand because their all around you on tom's BQ hunts.Lots of bears lot of fish lots of fun bd

65 – 66,000 bears? That’s one hell of a spread! I hope I’m there the week when there are 66,000 bears in the area.

Come on ladies, someone fill this spot so Tom doesn’t have to make up the difference by pick up dog poop for pocket change around the lake.
