Question for you Texas guys
« on: February 15, 2011, 09:04:00 AM »
WE are going to Texas starting fri. for a hog hunt, I mentioned to my son that we would probably stop over in a walmart parking lot for the night and he said some walmarts will not let you stay all night anymore, I thought it used to be a policy to stay all night at any Walmart. What do you guys know about Texas?
I have been blessed, beyond measure.

Here in Fredericksburg, Tx you can camp for three days in the parking lot. You might get the phone # of the Wall-Mart you will be staying at and call ahead. Ken

Some Wal-Marts will allow it, some won't. You'll just have to call the Wal-Mart where you want to stay. In some places, the local grocery stores like HEB and Brookshire Brothers won't mind you camping out overnight at the far end in their parking lot. Just don't do it close to the store.

RVs and travel trailers. Tents are frowned upon.
