Hunted for the buck that was working this rubline all season. Didn't get a shot at him but was close a few times.

 

 I was still hunting this wet foggy morning. I saw him right after I took this picture but he was about 40 yards out and heading away. It was a great morning to hunt.

Just a doe right? But the unknown story behind the photos that only the hunter lives sometimes makes "just a doe" a trophy of a lifetime. This deer has that story behind it and remains one of my all time favorite trophy's.
