This little guy got lost of air,but timed it all wrong. It came down right on it's gut and put one leg thru the runners on the gate and was hung up. I was so wrapped up in watching it try and free itself and wondering how many times I was gonna get kicked if I had to help it out I forgot to take a picture of the event. Luckily for the Elk and myself it freed itself afted about 30 seconds!

A great place for bow-fishing, this is a series of shallow impoundments.  My intention was to kill some carp and catfish, but it was such a perfect Fall afternoon I just kind of wandered about taking pictures.  I took plenty more but they all kinda look the same as these.

I sat for about an hour watching swans fly in and out.  Must have been a couple hundred of them.  I have never seen so many.

Who knew New Jersey could look so nice?

There were 9 pups in this den. We actually got to see them nursing for a few minutes til the mom got a whiff of us!

Success!!

If you look close you'll see me retrieving my arrow.
