Who says the "Grinch" stole Christmas - he just snuck around and moved it to February.

Copy of a PM I just sent Larry (Grinch):
How often does someone get a Osage wood bow from someone that they are not even expecting a package from? Bless your heart, Larry. That is a sweet looking, feeling and, yes, shooting bow. The string that was on it was a full two inches too short but I had a ("fully dressed") string on the wall that I'd made for my "It" bow (that the limb got crushed on). It was just the right length. You know I had to take it out and shoot it right away, with some cane arrows. I did a couple of fliers that were off more then I'd like to admit but otherwise I "killed" Two turkeys and 3 deer (3Ds of course - LOL). Very nice handling and shooting bow, Larry. Do you know what the weight was rated at? Also who is JVP, whom, from the initials on the bow, I assume is the builder? Someone I know (of) and can't remember probably. I'm not sure what brought this about, buddy, but I certainly appreciate the arrival of it - even if it turns out that you just wanted me to try it out. It looks pretty good in my collection though, so it might would take me an awful long time to return it.
Later - B
