That is a bargain, you can spend a lot more than that on arrows. I have a 50#'er and it is a great bow!

Those are great bows. I have a #45 that I keep around. My other bows are high dollar customs, but sometimes I find myself shooting that ol Bear amazingly well. Makes me wonder why I keep those customs around.

I`m looking for one in the 45-50 lb range.

If this bow is in that range, and your willing to sell, I`ll give you 180.00   :D  ...seriously!

Anyhow, a great deal for sure!

It's only 45 pounds. I was looking for a 55# bow but, after shooting this afternoon I realized 45# is good for now until my 55# maddog gets here. That way I can kind of work into it. It's been so long since I shot a trad bow that my shoulders got wore out really fast. After about 20-22 shots I started really scattering my shots all over the target. Also I was so pumped when I got it for $90 bucks. Found it at a pawn shop. They had it for $110 and I told the guy I really didn't want to spend more than $80 on a used bow and that's when he told me he could let it go for $90 and I snatched it right up. He had a few compounds but this was the only trad bow in his whole place.

Hang on to that 45#er even after your new bow comes. Great back up bow and a good weight to work on form when you need to.

I think they might be one of the most overlooked bargains to be found and yours even tops anything I've ever seen as a bargain.

Congratulations!

Thanks for sharing.

... and what Ron means when he says to hold onto it for a backup is: "sell it to sticksnstones for 90$ and pass the good karma."  :)

Seriously, you've got a great deal there. Congrats!!!

They're great bows!  I wish I'd never sold mine.  If you want to get rid of it when you get your 55#er  keep me in mind, I'm just a short drive away.  ;)
Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)

The Montana is the prime reason that I am interested D-shaped bows. They have been more enjoyable for me to shoot than bows I've owned that were $600-$1200 more expensive.

Congrats on your find.

Way to go!  That never happens to me.  A friend found a bow in a yard sale that was all painted up and ugly looking.  He gave the guy $5.00 for it, took it home, cleaned it up and had an original Wilson Brothers Widow from way back in perfect condition!
