Going Traditional for Good
« on: February 16, 2011, 07:18:00 PM »
After just getting into traditional archery just about a year ago and shooting compounds for 30 yrs. ive decieded to take off the training wheels and go traditional for good. Much more of a challenge, don't get me wrong i still love shooting the wheel bow but nothing better than traditional.     :archer2:

It`s all about the fun. Take the path that leads to the most fun.

I`m guessing the bow in your hand means you have learned where the most fun is, but you have ALWAYS been "traditional".

Been trad only for almost 3 years straight now. Will never go back to wheels. Never shot aerials nor stumps nor fish with the wheelie. Never even entered my mind. Now I do all three and have much more fun!

I just completely jumped the fence myself. It is way more satisfying in my opinion. Only one more wheelie to sell and I will be completely free of the gadgetry.

i love it. i try to shoot my compound every now and then, but get bored and grab my long bow after a few shots.  just bought a new bow in the classified on here and that will be my hunter if i like it. cant freaking wait for that to come.

think im going to brinf the long bow and compound in the tree next year.  under 20 yds long bow over compound.  im not ready to give up compounds for hunting just yet.
