Laminated ferrels on broadheads blowing apart?
« on: February 16, 2011, 09:14:00 PM »
I know I have seen it happen before, but I do NOT recall what type of impact it took for it to happen.

I have never had it happen with any broadhead I have used, but I have generally just shot one piece ferrels like what is seen on Zephyrs, Abowyers, and Snuffers.

I have been interested in getting some of the new Grizzlies and am curious how strong those laminated ferrels are.
Until next time...good shooting,
Lee

I have never shot a grizzly but I know Eclipse broadheads are as tuff as can be.  I have split target points and steel blunts but I have never hurt a Eclipse or a Magnus.
