Yes, they are tough, one of the toughest broadheads on the market. They are machined from a single piece of steel, made by VPA just like the Terminator and Woodsman Elite broadhead, the difference being they are single bevel.
The single bevel is really pretty simple to sharpen, and as the angle is 26 degrees sharper than a traditionally sharpened double bevel three blade head, when you get it sharp it is SHARP
Another advantage to the 34 degree angle that the blade is set to is that it can be sharpened with a Redi-Edge from 3Rivers. Here's a quick video that a Glenn McPherson (L82HUNT) did a while back.
