String HELP please

How many strands of B50 should I use for a 42lb. bow?
Chuck
Kodiak Mag 52" 41 lb.
Kota Kill-Um 60" 42 lb.
Kanati 58" 38 lb.
Black Hunter Longbow 60" 40 lb.

You could go 10 but I'd go 12 just to fatten up the string.

I use 12 strands B50 for bows under 50#,fits my nocks and plenty strong enough.

I shoot a LB 50@ 28 12 strand, I am not sure as to the size serving. I have two sizes, The larger size gives me a good nock fit. The smaller is a little loose. Agree with Bud and 309. There was a thread on here with what each strand of most string material was rated for. Some of the guys tested the strands and gave the breaking point. Seems like it was one of the skinny thread.
