waiting on my barta bow.
« on: January 11, 2007, 06:25:00 PM »
Ok, I went ahead and ordered the barta bow after talking to the people at 3 rivers.  I was told that the bow is the same bow as the bushmaster which I really like.  So I'll post pics when it comes in.
70#barta bow shooting 65-80 stalker extreme cabela carbons with 100 grain inserts and 100 grain adapters with woodsman heads on them, should have around a 600-650 finish weight when there all done.  At first I though I would be overbowed but I really have a 26 inch draw which would put me around 65# of bow weight so I should be good.

Hey Nick.  Where in NJ are you located?  Do you go to Whittingham in April?

mike I am located in Hunterdon County.  I went last year and am looking to go again this year.

I would prefer to of used a lighter bow but I seem to have accuracy issued with bows lighter in weight.  I don't know.
