I had an odd idea while reading TG. I wanted to use some of my old aluminum arrows I had laying around for stumping and squirrels. So I dont have any screw in blunt heads and I came up with this.
I took a barrel from a clicker type pen and melted the end shut and epoxied it,then filled it with steel shot (to equal 125gr) and then sealed it and epoxied. I took out the insert on the 2315 XX75 shaft and applied glue to the pen barrel and slid it in(fits snug) and added the insert back in. Then I took a used 380 cal casing and heated it up and pushed the shaft on it. It looks real good and has front weight. I still have to shoot it.So what do you think, it's like a home made weight tube and head that cost just about nothing.
