Fall LBL Trad Bowhunt *November 3-6, 2011*
« on: February 21, 2011, 06:21:00 PM »
This may be a little early but I am waiting on my bow to be delivered and I need something to do!    :)   Planning on posting again later but I thought I would throw it out there for you to be thinking about.
Wondering if there would be any interest in designating 2-3 days in mid to late October to have a Trad Hunt    :campfire:

Sounds good if I can get the Planets to line up! Thanks
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

I would love to Bill. I'm sure there would be a lot of interest among some fellow KY members.

Oh btw, text me when you get your bow in the mail.

So does that mean you are calling for the position of "certified all time hindend wiper"?

LBL hunting has  been pretty bad last 2 years, several of my buddies, die hard bowhunters, usually hunt there 10 days at a time, no luck last 2 years, big kill off due to blue tongue 3 years ago, still seeing cases of it. These hunters bring home the game year after year also, you migh want to think of another place to hunt, just thought I would chime in.

I could be tempted to do it.  Got some good memories from the early 70's down there...

We hunt there several times every year, over the past 10 years..., so count me in!  Blue tongue hit pretty hard everywhere in Ky, but I saw lots of deer last year, and the year before. You may just need to hunt a different area. By the way, what area were you planning to gather?  I'd love to meet up with some trad bowhunters at LBL, we are allways the only ones!
its me, against me.
