Aug 1 deer tag-just got word of successful draw.  Tamure is also drawn for the same place.  We don't have bugs-much, but we have heat, no humidity, and we have forest fires, and we have NO water.
We have lots of miles of stumping to do.

You expect to tell me that the women in Indiana have more summer time fashion sense than the women in Missouri?  What about all those Ozark Mountain lakes?  Put a little music on the radio and mix an adult beverage after your target rounds.  What was that guys name?  Mungo Jerry?  How about a little Redneck Yacht Club to get you going?

>>>Is there anywhere it stays November all year long?<<<

Try Seattle or the Northwest, i.e. western WA or OR.    not too hot in summer, not too cold in winter.  Kind of wet, but we get used to it.

My wife and I left Fla. in 1966 to get away from heat.  We'd also grown up in Cleveland, so we know snow and winter.   We've been here in the NW ever since and love it.  When we first got here and rented a house, we asked about window screens.   Landlord's answer:  "What would you want screens for?"   Very few nasty flying bugs.

Ready for fall!!!!!!!! I love all the summer activities but I find myself longing for a comfortable treestand and a crisp, sunny, October evening with a cresent moon making it's appearance around 2pm and a steady 5mph wind in my favor. Add my longbow with a quiver full of fresh cedars with finely honned broadheads and an unsuspecting doe coming in close. Man!!!!!
Just one more step please!

I feel your pain inhunt. Fall is short and sweet.
And during the heat its seems so far away.

Here in N.E. Michigan the mornings are cool, and sometimes I sit on the porch and have coffee until I get a chil, just to remind me of November.

The good thing is, my furnace isn`t running, the garden is growing, and since I work 100% outdoors,
work is easier.

Try not to rush November too much, cause if it gets too much speed, it passes by too fast.

My wife says that in heaven, every day is a cool, sunny, fall day. I hope there is also buck rubs,
deer runs, acorns, and bloodtrails.

Hang in there pal, time marches on. It will be here before you know it.

We don't have summer up here in Nodak, it's called road construction. Winters tend to get a little long, so the heat is a welcome site. Fall will be here soon enough. Summer is the time I can get the walleye stocked back up in the freezer.
