Well I got the call over the weekend for my specs. on my new Buffalo bow. I will have Tiger Myrtle limbs and Zicote riser 58" 48@28. Now the hardest part, waiting for the call saying it is being shipped. Just in time for my hog hunt, He said about 3 weeks if he makes weight.

Lucky you! I hope that mine is the next one up. I have a hog hunt around the last of March, with luck I will be using a new Thunderchild on that hunt. Keep us posted on your new bow.

For those of you who may be interested, Big Jim has graciously allowed my spot to be held and auctioned for St. Jude's.

He called yesterday, but due to several factors, it wouldn't work for me right now, and Terry has been notified to post it when the auction forum goes up.

This spot will be the FIRST IN LINE on Jim's next build rotation after the auction. No Waiting for that amazing bow, and received in time for the fall...save your pennies because it's all for the kids.

Sounds like a beauty.  After starting a thread like this you know you're obligated to follow through with a thread of photos when you get it...   :readit:

I had the pleasure to meet Big Jim & his great wife Barbara at the Lake Marion SC shoot this past weekend.
It was my first opportunity to see both the Buffalo & Thunderchild in person. Beautiful bows! Unfortunately, no lefties to try, but Jim said he sure could build me one!(been thinkin' hard about that ever since).
Anyone waitin' on one of these Bows, hang in there, I think you're gonna be real pleased!
