Quivers for 3D and stumpin'
« on: February 22, 2011, 03:08:00 PM »
What kind of quivers do you like for stumpin' and 3D shoots?  I've been considering a back quiver, but my experiences with them thus far have not been good.  My main complaint is that it's hard for me to get arrows in and out of  them.  Granted, some have been self-made and others have been cheap, so maybe that's part of the issue.  I'll never hunt with this - I like my bow mounted quiver for that.  This will be strictly for targets.

Look at the SafariTuff; you may change your mind about hunting with it. It is a great quiver.

For stump shooting you can't beat a good 'ole back quiver! 'Course that's just my opinion.   :D

The arrowmaster is my favorite hunting quiver. I also use it for 3D and stumping if rain looks likely. On a clear day, if it's cool I'll use a back quiver for 3D and stumps. On a hot day, I'll use a hip quiver I got from Big Jim at Denton Hill.

Yep the arrow master works for all things stumps to hunting for me.  However, for 3d and stumps this year I will be trying out my new pocket quiver as long as I am not using judo heads.

I gotta agree with the SafariTuff quiver! I love the look and trad. feel of back quivers but it just would not work in a practical sense for me. My arrowmaster keeps my arrows totally protected and secure as I plow through brush, hunt through rain, and bounce around on the atv rack. Great product!

I use these for 3D, roving, and hunting:

Thanks to work my arms dont move like they use to and i have a hard time with back quivers. Now i use a Jack's quiver like Trekker's. Easy to get arrows in and out and i dont get hung up in brush looking for arrows..LOL

flintznstyx:  Yep, I made em all.  It's real close to Jack Bower's design, except I open the top up a bit more.

Ditto.  It's great for doing anything that involves arrows.
