I got a text from Gatekeeper this morning and sounds like the javalina was good and the hogs were tough to score on. I'll leave it at that so they can tell thier tales!
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

Gatekeeper THANKS for posting the pics.Wheres the pic of YOUR Hog ??

This years Pig-Gig was a blast again, this was the 1st hunt held at Rancho Seco there was alot of Javie action, man those critters are cool to sneak & peek with as well as hunt out of a blind for.Perfect game for Stickbows.
Hunting Hogs from a treestand is somewhat like Bear Hunting over bait which I love to do.This trip was made extra special because I harvested my 1st Hog which happened to be a 200# er as well as my 1st Javie which was a really nice one as well.Gatekeeper really took care of me with prepared food, special homebrew of Corn-Mash and quite a few other needed items as well as trip to airport EARLY EARLY Saturday morning.THANKS again Gatekeeper.I was fortunate enough to have met Rob "Paleface" Burnham and a number of other serious Stickbowmen as well as great guys and as always Gene & Barry were a blast to be in camp with.THANKS Gene for allowing me to doctor up treestand along the river for last nights hunt which produced a real good Hog !!
